Only the One Who said to the sea, `Peace, be still` can calm down our troubled thoughts

Let us run to the One Who can save us from the death of sin, with intense prayer and hot tears and the enemy will go away quickly. In the Psalms they say:

`Call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. (Psalm 49, 15)

Were you hurt by the enemy ? But the Lord healed you. Did the enemy troubled you? But the One Who said to the sea `Peace, be still`(Mark 4, 39) calmed the thoughts which are raging within us like waves. And what a blessing we only call Him and the Kind One comes with `grace and compassion` (Psalm 102, 4) and fulfills the prayer of the one who prays and vanishes the cloud of sorrow and brings light in the heart by good thoughts and what He doesn`t do? If He  he humbled himself by becoming obedient for us to death—even death on a cross! How won`t He give us along with Him all things?(Romans 8, 32)

For this reason let us persevere, my brothers, serving Him with zeal, getting up from falls and running powerfully the run of endeavours, knowing that at the end of the struggles some crowns are prepared for us. That is why we should make use more of confession because confession is a bridle for not sinning. Let us use humbleness because by this are crushed the flaming darts of the evil one . (Ephesians 6, 16) Let us use faith as without faith it is impossible to please God (Jews 11, 6).

Maybe we will be puzzled or completely perplexed because although we struggle we are caught by bad thoughts. But we suffer this because of the fall of Adam:

Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come. (Romans 5, 14) and our nature fond of pleasure got sick. Then at the arrival of Christ `through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,` (Titus 3, 5), our nature being strengthened we returned to our initial state. But because it got sick it got used being sick and from here it easily falls into the love for pleasures.

However the Saints strengthened themselves so much in the fear and love for God that their own safety was not enough anymore for themselves and they helped others to chase away the demons and make tens of thousands of miracles. But even if we are far from their way of life at least this is possible, my brothers, to try and imitate them. Our kind God will receive our small sacrifice as He received the great deeds of those men and together with them He will give us His Kingdom in Jesus Christ our Lord with whom be the glory and power together with the Father and the Holy Spirit now and forever. Amen
