Being treated with a lot of love, Vaso noticed the nice character of her husband and he enjoyed her love as well. But one day Taki asked her:
“Vaso, I saw that every time I ask you for something, you do it and you never refuse me.” “How could I reward you?”
“I have everything I want”, she answered, “I don’t want anything else.”
But he insisted:
“But I do wish to reward you somehow.” “Just tell me and anything you want I’ll do it for you.”
“If you insist, then I’ll tell you.” “The only thing I’d like is to see you make the sign of the cross when we eat, when we go to bed…”
Taki became a bit worried, but won by her kindness and obedience, answered:
“So it will be, my dear!” “If this is what you want, then I’ll do it.”
So he got used to make the sign of the cross.
How did Vaso succeed to convince him? She succeeded because she did not constrain him, she did not pester him with her advice, because she knew she wouldn’t have got any result with all that.
She treated him gently, with patience and love and Taki felt so happy that he wanted to reward her love.
