The gardener cuts from the trees to make them grow faster and straighter. But if they cut too much from branches and stem, the tree will wither.
Believe that your suffering will never overcome your measure. God takes care of every man with much more attention and mercy than any gardener for his trees.
Saint Nil from Sora tells it wonderfully: `If the potter knows how long to keep the pot in the fire in order to be burnt without cracking how will God not know the measure of our sufferings? Believe that God has more wisdom than man!
