When the great prophet David fervently prayed, shedding tears, for God to merely cast His gaze upon him, and if God did so, he believed he would be saved. Then, what can we say about the Mother of God, in whose womb God chose to dwell, and from whose immaculate blood He formed His heart? If even the greatest saints lost grace due to a single thought, how pure must have been the thoughts of she who carried God in her womb and later nourished Him at her breast with her milk. This is why we honor the Mother of God and humbly bow before her sanctity. Most Holy Theotokos, save us!”
