In this world we are like the merchandise displayed for sale. Some merchants rise our value up to heaven and others take it down to nothing.
The praise or the defamation which come from people always divides our soul in two: with half of our soul we are glad for the praise and with the other half we get upset; with half of our soul we get upset because of the defamation and with the other one we rejoice – as we feel in the depths of our mind that neither the praise nor the defamation said everything about us.
Beware of the exaggerated praises or defamation and consider yourself more insignificant than the first one say it and bigger than the last ones say – so that you may not fly without wings and lose yourself without hope.
