Once a few monks from the New Skete (from the Holy Mountain) cleaned the place where was the ossuary with the bones of the reposed fathers. An elder called Daniel, who lived in the tower of the skete and helped anyone without complaining, while helping the fathers who cleaned the place, said to the bones:
“You had struggled when you were alive on earth so you received your wreaths and found your places in heaven.” “Pray for us, Holy Fathers!”
Then a voice was heard from the pile of bones:
“You must have love.” “No one can be saved if he doesn’t have love.”
