Many people consider God’s silence as a proof that He “does not exist”, that He “died”.
But if we saw in what an awkward position we put God with our passions, then we would realize that He has no other option but to remain silent. We ask from God to support us in our wrongs. He does not blame us openly. He lets us walk on our deceitful ways and reap the fruits of our own sins. But if we come back to Him repentantly, then He comes sooner than we expected. Many times, because He knows our needs, He fulfills them beforehand.
As soon as we express our requests in our prayer, which are justified by the reality of the life we are living, we see that He has already fulfilled them. Therefore God’s silence is the noblest answer to our wrongs.
