To those who complained about their troubles, saint Ambrosiis from Optina said:
`If the sun shines without cease everything in the field will dry out ; that is why sometimes rain is necessary. If it rains without cease, everything will get rotten; that is why wind is necessary to dry out. If the wind is not enough, sometime a storm is necessary to draw everything away.
All these are beneficial for the man at their time, for he is changeable.
