The faithful person, who always pays attention to and follows God’s commandments, when fulfilling all divine commandments and directing their thoughts towards their loftiness, that is, towards a life and purity without blemish, upon finding their own measures, will consider themselves powerless and unable to reach the height of the commandments, even feeling very poor and unworthy of receiving God, of giving thanks and glory to Him, as one who has not yet acquired any good of their own; and the one who contemplates these things about themselves, in the sense of their soul, will undoubtedly weep with a truly blessed weeping. And this weeping will receive comfort and make their soul gentle.
