Praised be His glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen and Amen..” (Psalm 71, 20-21).
From the prophet`s heart full of all grace are pouring words full of grace. The prophet speaks about the Emperor and the Son of the Emperor, about the most uncommon Emperor ever seen on the earth.
`May His name last forever` (Psalm 71:17) says the prophet and as if this wouldn`t be enough, he repeats and reinforces the word over and over again saying about Him `Praise be to His glorious name for ever`. Christ`s glory is His Holy Church on earth.
Blessed is His Holy Church, the fruit of His endeavours, the wreath of His humiliations, the work of His hands and the flower of His Blood! Blessed is even the Name of His Holy Church, He is a Holy and salvatory Name!
And the whole earth is filled by His Church, meaning by His work and His glory. By his words, the prophet prophesied forever and ever Christ ever lasting work, namely His Holy Church. It is built in time but it reveals itself as it is into eternity
It is built until the end of the world but it shows its perfect completeness only into eternity. Oh, my brothers, let us strive to construct our souls within Christ`s Church, within that vivid and immortal flesh whose life has no end and whose beauty is imperishable. Let us strive so that we won`t be found ourselves rejected and useless as some nicked and thrown bricks and so being thrown into the darkness from outside and in the gnashing of teeth.
Oh Lord Jesus Christ Who are the Emperor and the Son of the Emperor write us in the book of Your Eternal Life and remember us when you come into Your kingdom! For we worship You and glorify You forever. Amen!
