The hiding of the good deeds

An elder said:

`Who shows his good deeds for the sake of the happiness, praise and honor coming from people that one resembles the man who sows his seed over the land and doesn`t harrow it to cover the seed and the birds of the sky come and eat all the seeds and all his toil is in vain.

But that one who hides his good deeds resembles the man who when sowing his seed covers it with earth immediately and it remains, grows, blooms and bears fruit.
